Jewish Iconography Destroyed In Bella Vista Synagogue’s Residential Conversion

The Fetfatzes family, owners of Bella Vista Beverage and the Bainbridge Street Barrel House, take pride in converting the former B’nai Reuben Synagogue—most recently the Antiquarian’s Delight—into apartments, “because of the history and culture it affords.” Now, in addition to the demolition of the congregation’s ceiling murals, they’ve removed just a little more of that history and culture, with the filing off of Jewish iconography on the building’s façade today
