Our Northwest tour series with the Young Friends of the Preservation Alliance next heads over to Germantown, perhaps Philly’s most architecturally eclectic neighborhood, with former Hidden City Daily editor Brad Maule as your knowledgeable–and opinionated–guide.

We’ll be visiting the former Masonic Lodge–and longtime Cunningham Piano showroom on Germantown Avenue, plus Cunningham Piano itself and Gaffney Fabrics, both (very) longtime businesses in the neighborhood. This tour only happens once a year, so check it out–you’ll never look at Germantown the same way again!

Start: Vernon Park entrance, 5800 Germantown Ave.
End: TBD

Germantown is the third of our Northwest Philly tour series in partnership with the Young Friends of the Preservation Alliance. Starting in July and running through October, we are hosting a monthly exploration of one of Philadelphia’s historic communities in the northwest. You’ll never look at Northwest Philly the same way again!
