Dear Readers, [gush]

Gratitude | Photo: Michael Bixler

Over 26 days, more than 320 of you have given the Hidden City Daily the chance to survive–and even grow. We are humbled by your generosity. Both the amount raised and the number of funders far surpassed our earlier crowdfunding campaigns.

Far beyond a vote of confidence for the Hidden City Daily, your support signifies a belief in Philadelphia, the place that was, that is, and that will be. No other city has a publication like ours, and that’s a testament to the intimate relationship we all have with Philly.

Though we fell about $5,000 short of our $30,000 goal, the outstanding response to our call for support is proof of the strength of our community.

Rest assured that in the coming months we’ll find the remaining funds. In the meantime, we’ll enter 2016 with the capacity to pursue stories that deliver insight and satisfy your curiosity.

It gives us great pleasure to recognize the following Hidden City funders and the many who gave anonymously. Warmest thanks!
