  • The skyline-defining spire of Manayunk’s St. John the Baptist Catholic church has once again been covered in scaffolding, says the Roxborough Review. Richard Van Fossen, of the Save St. John’s Committee, explains that the scaffolding will serve as some protection against the winter elements prior to the start of the 5-year, $5 million renovation of the historic house of worship in the spring.
