About the Author

Joseph G. Brin is an architect, documentary filmmaker, photographer and writer based in Philadelphia. He has covered Philadelphia architecture, preservation, design and culture. Brin's new film, "A String of Pearls: The Small Miracles of Charles Middleberg," story of a childhood witness and survivor of the Holocaust, is now in production.
