  • The Department of Making + Doing—a collaboration between Breadboard, NextFab Studio, Public Workshop, and The Hacktory—invites you to its launch party this Saturday, from 2-6, at 3711 Market Street. “The Department of Making + Doing, a recent winner of a Knight Art Challenge Grant, is an inter-generational, collaborative, hands-on, civic innovation workshop that provides the space, the tools, and the knowledge to empower youth, adults and community organizations—ultimately inspiring citizens to make and do great things in Philadelphia.” To RSVP, click HERE.

Stephen Currall recently received his BA in history from Arcadia University. Before beginning doctoral studies, he is pursuing his interest in local history, specifically just how Philadelphians engage their vibrant past.
