  • This Saturday, Kalphonse Morris will open The Urban Art Gallery on 52nd Street. Long a dream for the amateur curator, Morris’ gallery will first feature the work of muralist and abstract artist Shawn Rae Feimster. In the future, University City Review says that Morris envisions “a place where artists of various kinds, spoken word performers, jazz artists and other performers would have a place to showcase their talents.”
  • As part of Philly Tech Week (April 20—27), Drexel professor Frank Lee will allow a lucky few to play the classic Atari game Pong, on the north side of the Cira Centre. Players will compete using joysticks, perched atop the steps of the Art Museum.
