  1. It would be nice to credit Axis for that image or at the very least do a link-out.

  2. Funny how all the appraisals of all tax abated properties went down considerably, and all un-abated properties went up a lot – generally more than 200% up. I don’t suppose politics are involved here at all, do you? Perhaps City Council and Nutter would like to shift the blame for their massive tax hike to those tax-abated homeowners, both insulating themselves from political pressure and creating pressure to rescind tax abatements? Sounds like spending at the City government level will continue to increase. Here’s an idea: how about decreasing City government and its spending, rather than taxing homeowners out of their homes and pitting older and newer residents against each other. Divide and conquer.

    • Frank, you’re implying that there was some underlying logic, or consistency to the AVI valuations. After examining the data, I can confirm that there is definitely no such thing.
