Furness Historical Marker Dedication Friday

An historical marker for the great Philadelphia architect Frank Furness will be unveiled Friday evening at 5:30 in front of his birthplace at 1426 Pine, a building now part of Pierce College. This year is 100th anniversary of his death.
The event is sponsored by the Athenaeum, the Philadelphia Society of Architectural Historians, and AIA Philadelphia.
