With a wide set of stakeholders, including noted philanthropist Dorrance H. Hamilton, behind it, The Enterprise Center CDC opened its new culinary enterprise incubator today in an old Acme supermarket on 48th Street in West Philadelphia.

The new 13,000 square foot space provides state-of-the art kitchen and baking facilities to start-up food-centered businesses as well as teaching space.

We’ll have more on this story, including a Q & A with Enterprise Center CDC director Gregory Heller next week.
