Large Lot Near Broad & Bainbridge To Be Mixed Use Residential-Retail

The large parking lot used by the State Department of Public Welfare until last winter behind the Hess gas station at Broad and Bainbridge has been sold to the Center City firm Clarke Real Estate Development, according to public records. The firm paid more than $5 million for the lot.

Plans to be revealed before the Zoning Board of Adjustment this Wednesday, August 15, at 2PM are for 22 townhouses and six condominiums plus some retail space.
